On October 8, 2015, nearly 70 users of Solace technology from a wide range of companies came together in New York City for the largest Solace user group meeting yet.
Credit Suisse hosted the meeting in their offices, and described how they plan to roll out Solace as their next generation messaging platform. Brett and Keith from Barclays explained an open source ecosystem they’ve built around Solace for functions including monitoring, replay, search, and more, which they are open to sharing with the Solace user community.
For our part, Solace’s CTO Shawn McAllister introduced the group to our new Virtual Message Router software and gave an update on our roadmap. Systems engineer Ken Overton presented a demo that featured geospatial routing based on pub/sub topics, and video over messaging.
Our next New York user group meeting will be on Thursday, March 17, St. Patricks Day — we hope you’ll be able to join us.
